The last six months that I have been investing in real estate have been the most mentally challenging months in my short 3 year investing career. They have been challenging because I am pushing harder than ever to buy real estate and at the same time the banks have changed so many regulations that involve lending. I will be honest, in my first two years I completed 22 real estate deals, I successfully won Deans video contest (I didn't know Dean was going to have a competition when I got started), I created over $500,000 in net worth and several thousand dollars per month in cashflow--all out of thin air--in two years. After I won the contest I decided to take a short break from investing and just kind of "enjoy my moment in the spotlight". That only lasted a couple of months and now I am running harder than ever because NOW is the time to buy! The deals are better than they have ever been, the cashflow is higher than ever and the process of finding a "good" deal has never been easier. Finding a deal way below value has become so easy that I don't even spend that much time on it each week. I now have investors all over the country just throwing money at me because they want a piece of the action. I say this for one reason. Enjoy the process of becoming a successful real estate investor. Some days will be hard, but a lot of days will be awesome! The person you will become over time will be amazing. If things become easy then that means you have grown and it is time to step down on the accelerator and speed things up. Don't ever give up! Cherish the good times and the bad and most of all ENJOY THE PROCESS!!!
You've got to find your obstacles and call them out! Unsheath the sword, and do battle with whatever it is that holds you back!
