OfflineSome have told me that there is too much competition in my area. They went to an investment club and it had 100 investors. They cannot compete.
There are more deals than 1000's of investors can take on. You can create tools and methods to get deals others cannot. Most investors cannot buy everything any way. Go out there and find houses. You will realize that this business can be done and there are plenty of deals to go around - especially in this market.

This is one of the greatest things - I do not know all of the ways. People who have a little different idea than me can beat me. Remember, when a horse wins a race he only has to win by .0001 second. Just a tiny difference will give you an edge over people like me.
An idea is to work with divorce lawyers. No one in my area does this. But, how many people when getting divorced sell of their property? And, who is it that knows about the sale before anyone else?
Another idea is to hire college kids to knock doors of foreclosures for you. I, like you, probably do not have the time to knock doors. You could pay the student $2.00 an hour but if you get a deal they get $1200 dollars - or whatever you come up with for your amounts.
Ideas where no one is doing them and are just a little different can make a huge result.
