Hi there everyone!
I am brand new to this. I just ordered Dean's book today, and now waiting for it to start reading.. I have been looking into buying the book for about a week now. I must admit, I was hesatant. I am only 21years old, and currently unemployed.
I am still sceptical about all this. I have bad credit, no money, but PLENTY of spare time on my hands and looking for a new career that has a positive and life-long effects on my life. And I am young. I have alot of people doubting me on all of this because of these facts.
Is there any one that can give me some good starting advice, or motivation to get this all started. Or am I jumping in to far over my head because of me circumstances. I do understand that I need to read the book before I start asking questions, but I would just like to start this all off on a positive note. =)
p.s. I live in Florida..... If that helps anyone.. Could help me a little with advice if there are others in Florida that have / are currently doing this.
Thanks so much in advance!

Hey Tifferbo,
Remember it's not where you start, but where you finish!! Getting started in real estate is like anything else in life...you need to start off with the basics and build up from there. You should begin by finding an area that you want to invest in and then work at finding motivated buyers. Obviously there is WAY to much to address is a short post, however Dean's book will get you started.
can someone please assist me by letting me know where i might be able to buy dean's book TOTALLY FULFILLED, or tell me what website to go to order it? thanks in advance.

I'm sure you can buy it a lot of different places, but here it is on Amazon.

You might be able to get it by contacting the number on this site (I'm not sure) or your local bookstore, as well.

Well, you already have one thing going for you.....Florida!, That place has taken a BATH in the real estate market place, which means, you'll be seeing major, catastrofic like, depretiation(it's been going on for a while now) and the BOTTOM is VERY close, so once the BOTTOM hits, go on a RE shopping spree, cause once the market goes into up swing mode, you'll be in great shape, you should be noticing HUGE APPRECIATION soon, SULLY
YOUR HERO, SULLY
You have seen nstreet's posts around. He if I remember started into investing when he was 18. You are at a fantastic age to build a great retirement for yourself. There are many ways for you to get into real estate and just as Sully stated there will and are a large amount of opportunity right now to make fantastic purchases.
You're better off than I am, I'm almost 17 and only have 2k.
