OfflineLooking for help on how to identify the difference between the Filing date and recording date of a Pre-forclosure. I recently got the Forclosure alert system to look for pre-forclosures and forclousures in my area and i was having a little trouble reading some of the info. I was just wondering if any of you pro-investers can lend a novice a hand on finding his first deal!!!.

Every County does things a little differently. Call the county clerks or recorders office and ask them the difference.
