how does a person qualify for first time home buyer

how does a person qualify for first time home buyer

I am thinking about buying and this will be my first time ever.

Not ever have owned a home before?? (Is this a trick question?)

Mark! lol

Talk to a mortgage broker or a loan officer at your bank. They will let you know what is available for first-time homebuyers. Maybe Google "first-time homebuyer". I'll bet you'll find a bunch of information. You are in a great position. I don't know what they require as far as employment or credit, but I think first-time homebuyers have the most benefits of any buyers out there. You can only buy your FIRST home once, after all. For a little about me, welcome to the site, and a few tips for new DG family members, click on this link:

Just about every State gets HUD money for 1st time home buyers, that they distribute to the cities and counties. go to your city, state, and county websites and check. There are even some areas in cities that they target,by giving you the downpayment money without requiring you to pay it back as long as you live in the house for 5 years.Or just call your city and ask for the dept that handle affordable housing..Go get them Lady !!!! But you do have to go thru an approved lender, but the interest is low.

Nope. I am 25 and about to be 26 years old. I am trying something new and reading the BARM. I am willing to give this real estate thing a try. I never thought I would be interested, but Dean has motivated me.

Thank You

Jeremiah 29:11 just confirms that I have the OK to do this. Thank you for replying to me and giving that scripture. Sometimes we need to be reminded.

Point of Sale

What does this mean exactly in Real Estate. I came across a purchase with a 6 page or 6 point of sale. I know it has some work to be done but the house is in a great area and is only 9,000.

MSL Summary Report

Does anyone know where I can find a msl summary report? if it's free to the pulic? or do you have to be a real estae broker or sales agent to get a hold to that information?

Looking for an MSL Summary Report of properties.
