So often you may hear from a prospective tenant "Let me take a ride by and then I will call you back". Our take away from this is people really want curb appeal and a nice block to live. Thus, be sure the property looks neat and appealing from the curbside. Are the schrubs trimmed with lava rock all around, is the grass trimmed, are there toys laying all over the yard.
Does the property have a fresh neat appearance from the outside? How about the entrance door, mailboxes, or address plates on the home? If it is at night does the exterior of your property have motion lights for safety and security? The little things may determine how long your unit is vacant and whether you can rent at mid-market rental prices or command a few extra dollars a month. I hope the list helps. Please share additional thoughts and insight. Good luck on all your real estate deals. Believe and Achieve! Indiana-Joe
