OnlineLately, I have been realizing(actually I have always realized, but never cared enough) how important positive people in your life are...I consider myself pretty positive person...Granted, I will admit, I have my moments where I look down on the things I shouldn't which causes me to be negative...
But lately, I have been turning everything negative into positive...example - I hate work with a passion...BELIEVE ME...
lately, I have been working on getting up 10 to 15 min earlier, get moving and waking up more, and going in more refreshed, and with a positive mindset...Meaning, I go in thinking that I am lucky I have a job to hold me over and that pays the bills till my real estate business takes off...and I found myself in a better mood...
Next thing is, a couple friends have been going through some tough times...breaking up, kid involved and all that...she too is trying to be positive with things, and dream...So...
I started texting her a positive question of the day(I call it)one question was
-what would be your career/job if you had a choice? is it achievable? and what could you do to make it happen?
--she text back saying, she wanted to be in the science field of crime scene investigation stuff...
--yes it is achievable she said
--and that she wants to go back to school in the next 2 years to start to make that happen
so I said, write your goals for the week, month, year, 5 years, and where you wanna be in 20 years...
-and everyday accomplish your goals that make you achieve what you want for the end of the week...and before you know it, you will be where you want to be as long as you continue doing things to get there.
To make a long story short, we are going to continue texting our positive question/thought of the day...
-keep up on each other for our goals(which we want completely different things)
-and are going to hold each other accountable for making our dreams/lives the way they should be in our minds...
She lives in Jersey, and I am in Ct...so seems hard to do, but through emails, phone calls, text, and occasional visits, it is an amazing thing.
SO ANYWAYS - my thought before I write a novel, is, for people to write a positive thought in this forum for people to read...
-whether it is what you accomplished-maybe you made your first offer, or deal, or even just wrote an ad...it doesn't matter...just post it...
-whether it is what you did for the day not involving real estate...just post it

Most people aren't lucky and have positive people in there life...So lets all help each other by being POSITIVE PEOPLE...

My husband called at lunch to tell me some positive news from his work today. He ended the conversation by saying, "I feel good." Awesome!

It's bright and sunny this a.m. after a morning rain.
My boss and I have a client meeting this afternoon where we're discussing the continuation of a project for next year!
I'm in a play and we have the final dress rehearsal tonight.
I'm calling an investor/realtor today to take a pass on a 4plex but he's very nice and helpful and I want to chat with him a bit about investing and ask to keep him as part of my circle.

So it's a rainy, dreary Friday here, but today I'm looking forward to the opening night of the play that I am performing in. I haven't been on stage in more than 12 years so it's going to be a lot of fun!

I was told yesterday by the winerie that buys my grapes (cab.) that they were rejecting all the crop. It rained here 1 1/2 weeks ago and dropped the sugar to much. Anyway it cost me $16,000 in one day. But I know that I can make it back with all the information from DEANS books and the info on this site.
Just keep trying.

Don't let anything stop you, and one of the biggest hazards can be our own doubt. This site is proof that people are making money in real estate. People always have and they always will.

Thanks so much on the good wishes for my performance. The opening weekend went very, very well! We perform again this Friday-Sunday and again next weekend. I haven't performed on stage in over 12 years and I was really missing it. It's so much fun!

Today I received word that the bank declined my offer, with no counter, on the short sale in another state. Why do I feel good about it? Because I made a relatively ridiculous offer with crazy contingenies (if I had been the bank that's how I would have viewed it) and I was able to get out of my own way and make the offer, not caring what anyone thought; it's just business. And if they had said yes I would have had such a great deal! And by saying no, I have even greater confidence in going out and making more offers.

Today was not as hectic as others days, but relatively quick; very unusual. Nancy, I see you are enjoying your return to acting, I guess it must be a blast. Marc, it is evident, you enjoyed your little trip, maybe we all will be tripping one day.
My Positives:
- I sent more property listings to my real estate broker for possible deals.
- Listen to the replay of the conference call,very information and
inspirational. The decision is ours now to act.
- I will be taking tomorrow off, I think I went back out to work too quick
after the flu. Of course, I am looking forward to the week-end. God

-time to get back to real estate
-re-motivating myself, cause lost some of it unfortunately
-went to Salem Mass on halloween which was very cool
-the multifamily is just about good to go on its own, without me having to deal with anything
-updated my journal/positive thoughts
-contacted a bank and mortgage company to ask questions cause it cant hurt
