I am a licensed real estate broker. I have just gotten the set for life system - when I start making deals what would be the best way to handle getting paid. I am looking to find buyers & sellers, put the deal together and get paid a fee; but should I find a deal (property that is already listed, whether my listing or not) through our MLS I will be compensated as a "Realtor" through the company I am currently with. How can I go about getting paid "on my own" or can I be compensated outside of a regular real estate transaction. My husband & I are working on this together, he is not licensed, so I was thinking that he could do the deals, I could find & assist in finding the deals and he could put them together and use my services as a Realtor. Just want to be sure I am on the up and up with any dealings and know I have to disclose that I am a licensed agent if I am doing any deals. Any thoughts???
