Today with technology everything can almost be done from the comfort of your computer!
You can work with your real estate agent to receive daily if not hourly updates of the properties
you are interested in purchasing. You can use hundreds of websites to find listed properties
and FSBO’s.
Today we have “social networking” websites that can be used to develop a “buyer’s list.”
Websites like, Facebook.com, Puurple.com & RealTown.com – can all be accessed to
further your real estate career.
There are numerous free classifieds where you can place advertisements and look for properties.
Websites like CraigsList.com, Kijiji.com, Oodle.com & SuperAds.com are great places to research.
You can create your own website to attract both buyers and sellers, along with the ability to
send real estate contracts via email.
By using this forum you will be introduced to hundreds of websites that will help you with investing!
You might be a “technophobe” – but don’t let that stop you!! The internet is your real estate
partner, so become friends and start finding deals!!
Don’t be afraid of technology, instead embrace it and use it for your real estate investing!

I agree wholeheartedly! I started investing 7 years ago and boy I thought that was tough. I can't imagine what it was like 15 years ago. The big difference I see today is in the social sites. They make it so easy to network, and like you said build your buyer's list. All my searches begin on the internet. And I have flipped one property (a MLO multi-plex) on Twitter. The easiest money I ever made, all in 25 characters. Yeah, it is a whole different world. Thanks for the post and the insights.

I received some junk mail from someone on craigslist saying they saw my ad there and suggested I try craigslist domination.

Great Information! Kwikpost.com is another investor website where you can post deals. I'm guessing it's fairly new as there are no WI properties listed there...but maybe soon there will be!
