Before asking for the help I need, I would like to take a few minutes to thank Dean and the DG family.
I feel so empowered since I bought Dean's books, read them and being present on this site basically everyday.
I honestly can say that being here for a month and half now, I have grown in confidence and determination. I have learned more here than with "Gurus" out there. Thank you Dean for being the kind of person you are.
I would also like to thank the DG family. Your encouragement and desire and eagerness to help makes me belong here.
Now the help I need. I have been taking action on what I read. I learned that without action there will not be a result or I should say outcome. Dean said if you do not take action you have already failed.
I spotted a FSBO in my area, called up the owner and we met yesterday at the house. As Matt said, fake it until you make it. I went to meet the man. Asked him a few questions, sincere questions and not interrogating him. He felt comfortable and told me w/o me asking he is willing to let me have the house for $110,000 instead of his initial asking price of $129,000. In the course of our conversation he told me that he has about 18 other properties that he is willing to sell at a good price.
His parents in India have found a plot of land that they want and he wants to buy it for them. He is tired of being a landlord he said. I am meeting him tomorrow Saturday to see some of the other properties.
I followed Dean's counsel and have two investors who are looking for good deals.
I need a step by step advice about where I go from here. I know I am determined to take action and apply what I learn.
Thank you in advance.
When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
