Hello DG Members,
After we received the tax deeds in the mail from Deal # 7, we contacted our attorney that filed the paperwork for the tax deeds. We had purchased other tax sale properties but we were not sure if the properties were redeemed since we did not hear anything on the deeds. To our delight these tax deeds will be mailed at the convenience of the county completing the paperwork. Our attorney assured us all the information was signed, sealed and delivered and it is just the process of the county to process the tax deeds as they have the time.
It is so exciting for us to think about the other parcels of land that we acquired and awaiting the tax deeds. We will be receiving the tax deeds for several different lots in developed communities. We desire to contact each neighbor on each side of our lot to inquire about their interest in purchasing the lot. These lots would make a nice side yard because most homes in this area have small back yards. Thus, we hope to make a quick profit on selling some of these lots.
The best parcel of land we received was approximately 7 acres in size in a pretty good area. Since the area has other land and parcels, we will probably need a survey to determine the exact parcel due to its odd shape. We are so excited about this parcel because it could have tremendous potential based on its location.
We want to thank Dean, once again, for all the great information he has taught us, especially looking into tax sales. I feel Dean is entitled to some sort of commission because he is leading the way to all these great deals. It feels like Dean's books are treasure maps as we navigate our way through the real estate investing adventures!
We are so excited and can’t wait to expand into other real estate investing areas that Dean provides tips, techniques and information on in his books and programs. I hope other DG Members take action and explore tax sales. We can’t believe the deals we have completed in the past 3 months and we look forward to the opportunities to explore during the rest of the year and our future journey!
