Hey I know all about overages!

I have my own refund business. So I know all about them. Differs a little state to state, though.

what state are good

what states are friendly, meaning which ones will give me the overage list with no problems.because i have read that you can get a percentage of the overages, when you find the person who's actually entitled to it.

Tax sales overages

Yes some state have passed laws regarding overages and collecting finders fees.does appear to be in those states where you can collect a finders fee could be very profitable. I would do some research on the contracts and legals. MichelleNicole

Are the overages found at the court house, paper, website? How exactly is someone to find the info? I know about tax sales is this something that is part of the tax liens? I will try to get some more information.
Thanks, Lisa

Hey

You need to go look up all the tax sale properties that were sold At the tax lien sale! It is public records the amount the property went for you can look up a lot so take the whole list! At the county courthouse! Tell the people who work there that you are do a study on the amount of properties that are being redeemed! Do not tell them what you are really do Because you want them to help you!Because you are taking money from the county and giving it to the people who need it and who it is owed to!Then you need to look up the law in your state about what happens to the money! Do not ask anyone you look for yourself. Very Important!!!!

Is this anything like recovering sales tax for tax exempt entities that were mistakenly charged sales tax. Here in Michigan you can go back four years (statute of limitations) to recover past overcharges. Brad

Thanks for the information. I will have to look into this a little more. Also for the heads up on not telling them why I need this information.

THE LAW!

Yes but what does the law in your state say! This is very important!!!! Don't ask anyone LOOK 4 yourself! Here in Alabama its 3 years but the law says before the 3 years after 3 years they don't have to give it to you they can just say NO!
