I'm writing a journal about my thoughts, hurdles, and progress through this whole journey of REI (Real Estate Investing). The link for my journal is at the bottom of all my posts, just click on it to get there. I have studied REI since 1996, when I was in college, and heard about this guy Carleton Sheets who was selling an REI course on late night TV. I bought a copy of it, read it front to back, and was fascinated by the possibilities. However, I was also discouraged by how complex everything was. So I continued to read other books and courses on the subject, but never actually took the action to try it out myself.
Fastforward to today, I am having the time of my life being the father I never had. However, I need to do something for me and my family that doesn't involve working for someone else for peanuts. I'm convinced my employee days are pretty much over, there isn't a job out there I could have that would make me happy. So I need to go into business for myself. I'm finishing the 2nd read on both of Dean's books, and using what little money I make to setup my contact portals (PO Box, Cell phone, website, etc.). The contact portals should all be in place by the end of the year, but I'd REALLY like to close a fast assignment deal before the holidays. But I have to finish these books first, so I guess everything depends on that right now.

Hello
Hey there Dave, I was wondering if you were interested in helping me find some properties and realtors in your area. Obviously I would compensate you, so if its a possibility, let me know please.
Thank you
Kevin
