OfflineI retired in 1997 from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service. I have been married to the same wonderful woman for 26 years and we have 2 great kids, Dan and Lindsay. We live in North Carolina not far from Ft. Bragg. I have owned a property management business since October 2006 but due to medical emergencies in my family have only been able to get it off the ground in the past few weeks. The real estate world has captured my attention for over 20 years and investing in it has been a goal of mine for at least a decade; I believe now is the right time for me to take the plunge. The motto in Special Forces is "De Oppresso Liber" which translated means "To Free the Oppressed" and I cannot think of a more apt saying to start my new career in real estate investing.
